"In the period from 7:00 to 9:00 Moscow time, 17 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the drones were eliminated over the territories of the Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk and Ryazan regions.

On May 23, the governor of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Makhonin, announced that Ukrainian drones had attacked an industrial enterprise in the Perm Region, and several drones had been shot down on approach. Previously, there were no casualties as a result of the enemy attack. Operational service personnel are working at the scene of the incident.
