The Hungarian government imposes a ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine. This was announced on May 22 by the country's Prime Minister Peter Magyar.

"The Hungarian government withdraws its application for withdrawal from the International Criminal Court and prohibits the import of agricultural products from Ukraine," reads a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On May 18, the Hungarian Prime Minister said that Ukraine must fulfill 11 Budapest conditions regarding the restoration of the rights of Hungarians in Transcarpathia in order to join the European Union (EU). It is noted that Magyar received a message about the readiness of the Government of Ukraine to start negotiations as soon as possible.
