CNN pointed to the rapid restoration of Iran's military-industrial base
Iran has already partially resumed production of drones during the period of the ceasefire agreement with the United States, which indicates the rapid restoration of Tehran's military-industrial complex. This was reported on May 21 by CNN, citing sources.
"The Iranians were ahead of all the deadlines for the restoration of the military—industrial complex set by the intelligence services," the American official said.
Although the timing of the resumption of production of various weapons components varies, some American intelligence estimates indicate that "Iran can fully restore its drone strike capability in as little as six months," one of the sources said.
It is noted that Tehran was able to recover much faster than expected due to a combination of factors, including because the American-Israeli coalition was unable to inflict serious damage on the Islamic Republic.
