The weather forecaster predicted a heat of up to +30 degrees in Moscow this week.

The air temperature in Moscow on Thursday and Friday will approach +30 degrees, and the heat will remain almost until the end of the working week. This was stated to Izvestia on May 18 by Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency.

According to the forecaster, the hot weather in Moscow and the Moscow region will continue almost until the end of the working week. In the afternoon, the temperature will rise to +29 degrees, and by Thursday and Friday it will approach + 30 degrees.

At night, the air temperature will remain high — about +16...+18 degrees. At the beginning of the week, including Wednesday, it is expected from +26 to +29 degrees in the afternoon. In the second half of the week, the weather in Moscow will already be classified as hot.

By the end of the week, the air temperature will exceed the climatic norm by about 7-8 degrees. The weather pattern will begin to change on Friday afternoon, when cooler air will begin to flow in from the west.

Rain is expected on Saturday night. Unstable weather with short-term precipitation and a decrease in temperature will continue on Saturday. It will be from +13 to +18 degrees at night, and from +21 to +26 degrees during the day.

"Even at these values, the air temperature will remain above the climatic norm by almost 4 degrees," Pozdnyakova noted.

The weather in the upcoming holidays is unlikely to please residents of the capital region

Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center, announced on May 14 that the meteorological summer had returned to Moscow. He noted that warming processes are expected in the capital region soon — at least until the middle of next week, thermometer readings will increase.
