Six people were killed in an Israeli strike on a civil defense center in Lebanon.

As a result of an Israeli strike on the civil defense center in the settlement of Haruf in the Nabatiya district in southern Lebanon, six people were killed, including three rescuers. This was reported on May 16 by the Lebanese state news agency National News Agency (NNA).

"An Israeli enemy strike on the center of the Islamic Medical Association of Civil Defense in Haruf in Nabatiya district resulted in the death of six people, among them three rescuers," the publication says.

It is noted that 22 people were injured.

Al Jazeera TV channel reported on May 9 that seven people were killed in southern Lebanon as a result of an attack by the Israeli Armed Forces on the village of Saksakia in the vicinity of the city of Sayda. Another 15 people were injured.
