Working in the Bryansk region is a great honor and a great responsibility. This was announced on May 14 by the acting governor of the region, Egor Kovalchuk, at the presentation ceremony.
"It is a great honor and a huge responsibility to work in the Bryansk region," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Kovalchuk noted that he intends to make every effort, knowledge and experience to achieve the necessary results. According to him, the main task for him will be to justify the trust of the residents of the Bryansk region.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Kovalchuk acting governor of the Bryansk region. By the same decree, the head of state accepted the resignation of the former governor Alexander Bogomaz at his own request.
