The RSA noted an increase in the average cost of a standard-hour repair for CTP
In a number of Russian regions, there has been a noticeable increase in the average cost per standard hour of car repair work for CTP, including for mass-produced car brands. This was stated by the president of the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA) Evgeny Ufimtsev.
"This is an important trend in the market, it expands the possibilities of insurers for insurance compensation for CTP in kind, as the interest of service stations in carrying out repairs in the areas of insurance companies is growing," the press service of the union quotes Ufimtsev on its website.
The RSA also announced the beginning of a public review of the drafts of the updated version of the reference books of the average cost of spare parts, materials and standard hours of work, which should be used in calculating the cost of car repairs to be reimbursed under the CTP agreement. The check will last until May 28.
As Izvestia found out earlier, the repair work under the CTP of Lada and Porsche damaged in an accident will cost the same amount. According to data published on the RSA website, in Moscow, the cost of an hour of repair work for both Russian and German models is 900 rubles. The standard hour in the capital is estimated at the same price for Geely, Land Rover, Infiniti, Haval, Tank, Jetour, Cadillac, Honda, Volvo and other brands. At the same time, the real market prices for car body repairs in Moscow turned out to be significantly higher than the "insurance" tariffs.
As reported on May 7, Sergey Yefremov, Vice-president of the All-Russian Union of Insurers (VSS), said that according to the results of the first quarter, CTP turned out to be unprofitable in 60 regions of Russia. In these regions, insurance payments exceed insurance fees, resulting in insurers incurring losses.
