Blogger Lercek (real name — Valeria Chekalina) continues treatment for stage four cancer amid discussions about her condition on social networks. Protection and relatives confirm the severity of the diagnosis. All the details are in the Izvestia article.

Details of Lercek's treatment

Valeria Chekalina was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer. The disease is accompanied by multiple metastases, and she is undergoing complex therapy at the Blokhin Oncology Center. The recovery plan includes nine stages, four of which have already been completed.

Despite the complexity of the situation, the blogger tries to follow the recommendations of doctors on maintaining physical activity. After surgery on the most affected vertebra, Chekalina was allowed to swim and walk. Valeria Chekalina herself stressed that the treatment was not easy for her.

"Today I have the fourth chemistry out of nine. This means that almost half of the way is done. I'm not going to be a hero and say that I always feel good and perfect," said Chekalina.

The incident with Lercek at the fitness club

A wave of discussions began after the publication of footage from the Moscow fitness club. One of the center's clients, Alina Raskovskaya, secretly filmed the blogger from behind in the locker room. She stated that Chekalina looked healthy and drank protein, although she had previously reported attending chemotherapy procedures.

As a result, the administration of the institution decided to terminate the contract with Raskovskaya for violating the internal rules of the club. Lawyers point out that such actions can have consequences in the legal field. Lawyer Sergey Zhorin explained Woman.ru that publishing other people's photos without consent is an invasion of privacy and a violation of personal privacy.

Arguments of Chekalina's defense

Valeria Chekalina's fiance, dancer Luis Squicciarini, defended the blogger after doubts about her illness appeared on social media. He explained that the positive dynamics was the result of intensive treatment.

According to the blogger's companion, earlier Chekalina was forced to use specialized vehicles due to severe pain. Spinal metastatic injuries limited her mobility, but radiation therapy allowed her to strengthen her bone tissue.

"Lera was in a wheelchair because of the pain caused by bone metastases, especially in her leg. Thanks to the treatment, especially radiation therapy, the number of metastases decreased and her bones became healthier," said the dancer.

Business Skills and blogger support

The severe diagnosis did not become an obstacle to continuing the blogger's professional career. Lercek introduced her new cosmetics brand Eyya Skin. In the advertising campaign, she decided to appear without a wig to express solidarity with other women who are struggling with cancer.

Chekalina is supported not only by her fiance, but also by other close people, including photographer Georgy Kamaev. According to the blogger, faith in recovery and the opportunity to see her children grow up help her cope with the stress of therapy. Due to Chekalina's state of health, the trial in which she participated was also suspended.
