The Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) said that since the beginning of the naval blockade, the US Navy has deployed 61 merchant vessels associated with Iran and disabled four more. The command announced this on May 10 on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
"The forces of the US Central Command redirected 61 merchant ships and disabled 4 to ensure compliance with the blockade," the report said.
