The Peresvet combat laser was shown during the broadcast of the Victory Day Parade

The Russian Peresvet combat laser system was demonstrated during the broadcast of the Victory Day Parade in honor of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) in Moscow.

A video featuring samples of Russian military equipment was also shown. The broadcast also demonstrated the S-350 Vityaz anti-aircraft missile system and the Avangard hypersonic complex.

In honor of the anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War, military personnel from military educational institutions of all types and branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation marched through Red Square. In addition, the military from the DPRK participated in the parade. For the first time, soldiers of the unmanned systems troops marched through Red Square in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The parade was hosted by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, and commanded by Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces Andrei Mordvichev. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the participants of the parade on the anniversary of the Victory.
