"Among those found guilty and sentenced to seven years in prison are Paata Burchuladze, a well—known opera singer, activist who organized the rally, Murtaz Zodelava and Irakli Nadiradze, retired Colonel Lasha Beridze and Paata Manjgaladze," the publication says.

Burchuladze, Zodelava and Nadiradze were accused of attempting to seize strategic facilities, organizing group violence and inciting violent change of the constitutional order of Georgia. Beridze was charged with participating in an attempt to seize facilities and gang violence, and Manjgaladze was charged with organizing gang violence.
