American leader Donald Trump said on May 6 that the United States and Iran could soon conclude an agreement, possibly before his trip to China, which will take place this week.

In addition, he noted that the text of the agreement does not contain a clause about allegedly allowing Tehran to enrich uranium to the level of 3.67%. The US president also noted that US sanctions against Iran will be eased if an agreement is signed between the parties.

"If we make this deal, we will ease sanctions against Iran and so on," he said in an interview with Liz Landers, a journalist with the American television service PBS News.

The American leader clarified during the same conversation that the agreement with Tehran does not imply the use of its underground facilities. Then he noted that Washington was moving towards its goal in this process, and also once again threatened the Islamic Republic with a resumption of bombing if it refused to sign the deal.

Ebrahim Rezaei, a representative of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament, in turn, called the text he sent a "wish list rather than a reality." He said that Tehran does not intend to agree to the conditions put forward without concessions from the American side.
