A rehearsal of the aerial part of the Victory Day Parade took place in Moscow

The aerobatic team painted the sky over Moscow in the colors of the Russian flag. Footage of the rehearsal of the aerial part of the Victory Day parade on May 6 is published by Izvestia.

The video was shot in the center of the capital. A wedge of nine Russian fighter jets can be seen flying through the Moscow sky, the hull of which is also painted in the colors of the Russian tricolor. They sprayed special dyes in the sky in the color of the flag of the Russian Federation.

Prior to that, on May 5, Izvestia also published footage of the Victory Day Parade rehearsal on Red Square. Participants with the Russian flag, Victory Banner and weapons ran in formation along the street of the capital.

The program of Victory Day celebrations in Moscow has been published

On April 28, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that military personnel from higher military educational institutions of all types and branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will march through Red Square in Moscow as part of the Victory Day parade on May 9. The aerial part of the parade will also take place — Su-25 fighters will participate in it. However, pupils of the Suvorov, Nakhimov schools, cadet corps, as well as a column of military equipment will not take part in the military parade due to the current operational situation.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 29 that the Victory Day Parade on May 9 would be held without equipment due to increased terrorist activity in Kiev. He added that this year's Victory anniversary is not an anniversary, so the parade will be held in a truncated format.
