The program of Victory Day celebrations in Moscow has been published

On Saturday, May 9, hundreds of events will be held in Moscow — concerts, exhibitions, performances and theatrical performances dedicated to the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Programs in parks

In honor of Victory Day, concerts, workshops, excursions and entertainment programs for adults and children are organized in 28 city parks.

Annual meetings of veterans will be held in Gorky Park — in the rose garden, the Partizanka garden room and on the lawn at Restorparking, and on the dance floor of the central alley from 14:00 to 17:00 it will be possible to join the Victory Ball.

Visitors to the Muzeon Art Park, as well as parks near the Raduga, Lianozovsky, Severnoye Tushino ponds, Terletskaya Dubrava and Krasnogvardeisky Ponds recreation areas will be able to participate in the interactive program "At the Halt", which tells about the years of the Great Patriotic War. Each interactive program session lasts half an hour.

In Khodynskoye Pole Park, from 14:00 to 17:00, visitors will be offered sports and patriotic activities: an obstacle course, backpacking and orienteering.

A theatrical interactive dance program from the Entrée Historical Dance workshop will begin at the Biryulevsky Arboretum at 14:00. Thematic master classes "Lilac of Victory" will be held in the recreation area "Terletskaya Dubrava". Guests are also invited to thematic workshops and game programs at Izmailovo Manor.

Festive concerts can be viewed at the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve (from 12:00 to 18:00), Vorontsovo Manor (from 13:00 to 22:00), Sokolniki Park (from 15:00), 50th Anniversary of October Park, N.E. Garden. Bauman and Mitino Landscape Park (from 12:00 to 22:00).

At the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, at 13:00, guests will be shown a poetic production of the Victory Revue, and at 16:00, the Victory Orchestra will perform.

The song and dance ensembles of the Strategic Missile Forces "Krasnaya Zvezda" and "Moskovskaya Kazachy Volnitsa" will perform in Lefortovo Park from 12:00 to 14:00.

A themed sound route will be created on the territory of VDNKh during the holidays (May 9 and 10). Visitors will be able to hear poems, songs, radio intercepts, voiced diaries and letters from participants of the Great Patriotic War. On May 9, from 12:00, a non-stop performance and concert will be held at the Druzhba Narodov fountain - a total of nine and a half hours. There, an interactive photo zone with an incoming train will be organized next to the Stone Flower fountain. Children and adults will be waiting at Pavilion No. 59 for master classes, including on creating triangle letters. Those who wish will be able to write letters to the participants of the special military operation.

Admission to all events is free.

On May 9-11, at the Moskino Film Park, visitors will be offered to watch scenes from the life of a post-war city, learn dancing from the 1940s, study aircraft design and military mailman, complete a quest and become an employee of SMERSH, as well as taste field cuisine and listen to tales from the trench. Concerts, master classes, and demonstrations will be held at various venues of the film park. On the main stage, military songs will be sung, poetry will be read, and dancing will take place. Those who wish will be invited to take part in filming based on films about the Great Patriotic War. Admission to this event is by ticket.

How to celebrate Victory Day near home

Events in all districts of the capital will begin at 1 p.m., after the Victory Day Parade on Red Square. Theatrical performances and concert programs with the participation of famous artists and creative teams are planned at the district venues. The whole family can come there to listen to military songs, congratulate veterans, and feel the spirit of Victory. Addresses of the sites:

Also, from May 1 to 11, Muscovites and guests of the city are expected at the permanent venues of the Moscow Spring Festival, where they can taste field cuisine, take part in street folk games and creative workshops, watch performances, listen to songs and dance.

During the holidays, more than 30 museums and galleries will host themed exhibitions dedicated to Victory Day. Themed photo exhibitions will be available on Arbat, Chistoprudny and Rozhdestvensky boulevards. In addition, until May 11, "Houses of Kindness" will be open throughout the city, where volunteers collect gifts for participants in a special military operation and children living in new regions of Russia.

The program of the Victory Museum

The Victory Museum has also prepared a large festive program for Muscovites and guests of the capital on May 9. On this day, admission to the museum on Poklonnaya Gora will be free (with the exception of the expositions "Feat of the People", "Battle for Moscow. The First Victory!" and "The Way to Victory"). The main building will be open to visitors from 10:00 to 18:00, the branch of the museum "G.O.R.A." — from 10:00 to 21:00.

At 10:00 a.m., the Rokossovsky and Vasilevsky cinemas will host a live broadcast of the country's main military parade. At 11:30 a.m., the "Victorious May" music marathon starts in the Hall of Military Leaders with the participation of leading bands and laureates of patriotic contests.

Events are also planned at the museum walls — a wind music concert, a performance by the Domisolka children's theater and a dance floor in the style of the 1940s. Throughout the day, St. George's ribbons will be distributed to visitors, the "We Remember" campaign will be held in the Hall of Fame, and flower-laying ceremonies will be held at the monument to the Victorious Soldier.

In the branch of the museum "G.O. R. A." from 11:00 to 17:00 there will be a concert "Faithful to the precepts of the winners" together with the movement "Immortal Regiment of Russia", and from 17:00 to 20:00 — the program "Memory of the heart" with the participation of artists of the State Chapel of Moscow named after Vadim Sudakov, singer Leonid Kipa and dance groups. There will also be workshops on assembling models of military equipment, photo zones and an exhibition of military relics found by search engines.
