In the house of A.I. and V.V. Arshinov, which is located in Staromonetny Lane in Moscow, restorers discovered an antique stove during the work. This was reported on April 28 on the portal mos.ru .

"Behind the modern wall cladding, experts discovered an authentic oven from the early 20th century, lined with smooth ceramic tiles of various sizes. The results of the research currently underway in the historic building will be included in the future restoration project," said Alexey Yemelyanov, head of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage (Mosgornasledie).

The building, built in 1879 and rebuilt in 1905 according to the design of architect Fyodor Shekhtel, in the past belonged to the famous mineralogist, professor of Moscow University Vladimir Arshinov. The mansion also managed to visit a scientific research center: famous geologists, mineralogists and crystallographers worked within its walls. Currently, the building has been awarded the status of a cultural heritage site of regional significance.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported on March 6 that over the past 15 years, the capital's restorers have restored about 2.5 thousand architectural monuments. Meanwhile, by 2030, about 700 more facilities are planned to be restored in the capital, of which about 500 are already in operation.
