The study revealed the most unpopular politician in Germany
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz turned out to be the most unpopular German politician in the country. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on April 28.
"Friedrich Merz took the last, 20th place in the new weekly ranking of INSA politicians," the publication says.
It is noted that the chancellor scored only 2.9 points — compared to last week, the leader of the CDU (Christian Democratic Union of Germany) dropped by two positions (from 18th place. — Ed.) and became the most unpopular politician according to the newspaper.
It is known that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is on the first line of the rating, scoring 4.9 points.
Merz announced on April 20 that Germany has ambitions to connect the first thermonuclear reactor to the grid. The German government has previously approved an "Action Plan for thermonuclear fusion," which involves the allocation of more than € 1.7 billion by 2029.
