A detainee in a hospital in Makhachkala claimed a targeted attack on a surgeon.
A detainee for assaulting two doctors in a Makhachkala hospital said he had purposefully attacked a surgeon. Footage of the interrogation was published on April 23 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan.
"I stabbed a surgeon because he hurt my mother," says the man who attacked.
According to him, he did not want to kill the medical worker.
The ministry's press service explained that by "hurt," the detainee meant the surgeon's "refusal" to help his mother, who went to the hospital for kidney pain "about a month ago."
At the same time, the man, according to him, did not know that his mother needed the help of doctors of another specialty — a therapist or a nephrologist.
"The attack on the surgeon had no motive. And the traumatologist who rushed to save a colleague (after being stabbed in the neck) was stabbed only because he was trying to help and save his colleague's life," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic reported on the Telegram channel.
