Norway called the West's decision not to talk to Russia a mass psychosis
The decision of Western countries to stop dialogue with Moscow for the sake of Kiev, which has a lot of problems, is an act of mass psychosis. This was announced on April 22 by Glenn Diesen, professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.
"Ukraine has a lot of problems, and that's why it's quite difficult to understand why, for example, the Europeans don't even want to call Russia and talk about the European security architecture. I would describe it as a mass psychosis in Europe," he said in an interview with journalist Andrew Napolitano, which he posted on his YouTube channel.
The professor noted that representatives of elites based in Europe broadcast an obsession with the idea of supposedly defeating Russia. This, in his opinion, deprives them of the opportunity to pursue an adequate foreign policy.
On the same day, MEP Thierry Mariani pointed to the destruction of its own economy by the European Union in order to support the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the association is ready to pursue this issue "to the end", while ignoring its own well-being. Thus, as the expert clarified, Western politicians are now engaged in digging their own graves.
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, a day earlier linked the slowdown in the development of the EU with the consequences of the erroneous decisions of its leaders. According to him, potential reforms in the association should resolve the mistakes that have arisen due to illiterate migration, energy and economic policies and the incitement of wars.
On April 8, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called unfounded the allegations of the head of the European Diplomacy, Kai Kallas, that Russia had allegedly attacked more than 19 countries over the past 100 years. She also added that she could not be sure that a European diplomat would be able to name any 19 countries without making mistakes.
