The schedule of banks' work for the May holidays in 2026 has been published

In May, Russians will have a series of holidays: May Day weekend and non-working days for Victory Day. The largest banks in Russia told Izvestia about their work schedules.

The press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor reported that on April 30 and May 08, 2026, working days were shortened by one hour in accordance with the working hours on the pre-holiday day.

"May 1, 3, 9, and 10, 2026, are non—working holidays and weekends, respectively. May 2 and 11, 2026, are working days for departments providing services on Saturday, in accordance with the customer service regime on Saturdays established by the current order. May 4-7, 2026 — working days for all departments, customer service according to the operating mode of the point of sale, established by the current order on the operational and cash customer service," the press service noted.

In the press service of the bank "Dom.RF" was told that May 1 and 9 are days off in all branches of the bank.

According to the Raiffeisenbank hotline, their branches will not be open on May 1-3 and 9. There is no approved schedule yet, but in the past years the pre-holidays were shortened. The exact information should be specified on the website.

A number of banks will have branches on duty during the holidays, so it is important to check with the bank about the work of the branch you are interested in.

The VTB hotline reported that the standard branches on April 30 and May 8 will be reduced by one hour. On May 1 and May 9, only the duty offices will be open. The list of offices on duty can be found on the organization's website.

The weather in the upcoming holidays is unlikely to please residents of the capital region

Sberbank's hotline said that from May 1 to May 4 and from May 8 to May 11, only the offices on duty will be open. From May 5 to May 7, all branches are operating normally.

According to Sovcombank's hotline, branches on duty from May 1 to May 3 will be open from 09:00 to 17:00, and on May 8 from 09:00 to 20:00. On May 9, a day off has been declared, and on May 10 and 11, branches on duty will be open from 09:00 to 17:00.

"All account transactions, payments and transfers are available to customers in the mobile application — around the clock and seven days a week," the organization's press service added.
