At least 34 tankers and gas carriers linked to Iran have passed through the Strait of Hormuz despite the American blockade. This was reported by Bloomberg on April 22, citing data from the Vortexa analytical company.

According to satellite information, of the ships that passed through the so-called "blockade line", 17 were loaded, which indicates the continuation of energy exports from Iran, despite threats from the United States. In total, Iranian ships supplied about 9 million barrels of Iranian oil to the market.

According to the agency, only on April 20, at least two fully loaded Iranian tankers Hero II and Hedy, carrying up to 4 million barrels of oil together, left the Persian Gulf and passed by the US military.

The authors of the material note that according to the Central Command of the US Armed Forces in the Middle East (CENTCOM), more than 12 warships are involved in the operation in the region, including an aircraft carrier, missile destroyers, large amphibious ships and a coastal warship, and over a hundred fighters, drones, tanker aircraft and reconnaissance aircraft. The tasks are performed by more than 10 thousand American Marines and pilots. However, according to monitoring systems, tankers, supercontainers and gas carriers continue to pass through the Strait of Hormuz both from and to Iranian ports.

At the same time, about 800 ships remain blocked in the Persian Gulf, as in addition to the American one, the blockade of shipping from Iran continues.

On April 18, the Iranian armed forces announced the restoration of military control over the Strait of Hormuz due to the blockade by the United States. Later, Iran blocked the Strait of Hormuz from the evening of April 18 until the complete lifting of the US naval blockade.

Al Mayadeen TV correspondent Moussa Assi said on April 21 that the main obstacle to the start of the second round of negotiations is the naval blockade of Iranian ports. According to the journalist, it is possible that Trump will lift the blockade in the last minutes before the expiration of the truce on April 22.

Later, American leader Donald Trump extended the ceasefire in the conflict with Iran at the request of Pakistan until the submission of Tehran's proposals and the completion of the negotiation process. According to him, the US military in the Middle East region remains on alert, and the naval blockade of Iranian ports continues.
