The armed forces of Iran are on full alert in case of an attack on the country. This was announced on April 22 by the representative of the central headquarters of the Iranian military command "Khatam al-Anbiya" Ebrahim Zolfagari.

"Our combat—ready and powerful forces have long been at 100% readiness to immediately and powerfully attack pre-determined targets in the event of aggression and any actions against Iran," the Tasnim news agency quoted the press secretary as saying in a Telegram channel.

On April 21, the head of the White House, Donald Trump, extended the ceasefire in the conflict with Iran at the request of Pakistan until the submission of Tehran's proposals and the completion of the negotiation process. According to him, the US military in the Middle East region remains on alert, and the naval blockade of Iranian ports continues. Prior to this, the American leader reported that the United States expects the bombing of Iran to continue, as this will improve Washington's position in negotiations with Tehran.
