Bloomberg has learned about the possible resumption of Druzhba's work on April 21.
Ukraine expects oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline to resume on Tuesday, April 21. This was reported by Bloomberg on April 20, citing sources.
It is noted that technical tests of the pipeline are scheduled for Tuesday. According to the agency, the resumption of Druzhba supplies may "pave the way" for unblocking a loan to Kiev worth €90 billion, which was previously vetoed by Budapest.
In addition, Bloomberg claims that the issue of European financing for Ukraine will be discussed at a meeting of ambassadors of the European Union (EU) countries on Wednesday, April 22.
Earlier in the day, Peter Magyar, the leader of the Tisa party that won the parliamentary elections in Hungary, said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should stop blackmailing Budapest and resume oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline. According to the leader of Tisa, if Zelensky wants to review the already agreed conditions for the resumption of Druzhba's work, this will be the wrong approach.
Zelensky promised on April 14 that oil supplies via Druzhba would be resumed at the end of the month. According to him, this pipeline will be restored as much as necessary for its functioning.
