In the penultimate week of April, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region should not expect warm weather, as the opposition of winter and spring will be recorded in the atmosphere. This was announced on Sunday, April 19, by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center.

"The weekend weather conditions will not change significantly, and, most likely, the cool temperature regime in Central Russia will last until the end of this month, and, preliminarily, even on May 1, you should not expect special spring warmth," he said.

The expert clarified that on the first working day of the coming week, the air will warm up to only +8 degrees, on Tuesday this indicator may rise to +11, and Wednesday— April 22, will be the warmest day of the designated period. It is expected that this day will be dry, sunny and up to +14 degrees.

The positive trend will be replaced by bad weather next Thursday. Then, on April 29, it will be cloudy in the capital and its region. On Friday, the 30th, rain mixed with sleet may fall in the described area, which will provide up to 10-15 mm of precipitation, which in turn will amount to 30 to 40% of the monthly norm.

Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, warned Muscovites and residents of the Moscow region three days earlier that precipitation was expected on Monday, April 20, in the area where they live, resulting in temporary snow cover up to 5 cm high. The specialist did not rule out the formation of ice. This situation, as he explained, will develop due to the Arctic invasion of the capital region.
