- REN TV will show the sequel to the action-packed military detective "SMERSH" on May 3.
On the eve of Victory Day, on May 3, REN TV channel will show two short stories at once, which will become part of the famous military action-packed franchise called "SMERSH". On April 19, Izvestia correspondent Leonid Klemenchuk explained why these premieres, based on real historical facts, are mandatory to watch.
"Captains Lavrov and Semenov will have to stop the invisible threat in the fourth season of the SMERSH series. The novel is based on the real Operation Cerberus, real historical events," he said.
The creators of the new part, as emphasized, relied in their work on declassified materials from the Federal Security Service (FSB), which documented evidence of the brutality of the Nazis and representatives of the so—called Japanese "Death Squad" - "731". The former, for example, received orders from their leadership to kill Soviet prisoners with poisons, while the latter, conducting their terrible experiments near the borders of the Soviet Union, almost caused a new plague epidemic on Earth.
"Only the holding saved the world from the fact that a new wave of plague did not go around the world. Chinese official historical science believes that from three hundred to one and a half million dead Chinese are victims of biological weapons," historian Alexander Makushin told Izvestia.
His colleague, historian Alexander Myasnikov, added that the Japanese attackers in question were doing "extraordinary things" — performing operations on their patients without prior anesthesia and monitoring the spread of contagious diseases.
Faced with such difficult material, the film crew was forced to solve the difficult tasks that fell to their lot. Many of the criminals she should have portrayed in the series destroyed their records of what they had done when they surrendered. The performers of these roles were required to broadcast extreme cruelty from the screen, as well as work on their own emotions. The self-positioning of the actors was supposed, as one of the actors Vladislav Kotlyarsky clarified, to be associated with composure.
On April 26, REN TV channel will present the premiere of the action-packed detective series "Rooks", which takes place in post-war Leningrad. In the story, the city is shaken by a series of mysterious murders, and the tracks lead to a man who turns out to be not who he claims to be.
On March 24, Medialogia presented on its website a Russian series rating consisting of the 100 most popular projects of the past year. The South Korean thriller "The Squid Game" took the first place with 42,861 points, the second place was taken by the American science fiction series "Stranger Things" (26,572 points), and the third place was taken by the Russian detective "Sled" (20,361 points).
