In the Samara region, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attacked the enterprises of Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran. This was announced on April 18 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

"The attack by enemy UAVs on the Samara region continues. Arrivals at industrial enterprises of Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran have been recorded," he wrote in the MAX messenger.

The head of the region noted that according to preliminary data, no one among the population was injured. Emergency services are working on the ground, operational headquarters have been deployed.

Earlier that day, Fedorishchev reported that a drone had crashed in Novokuibyshevsk in the immediate vicinity of a maternity hospital. According to him, the patients and children were promptly transferred to a nearby medical facility.
