The "yellow" level of weather danger due to fog will be in effect in the Moscow region from Friday evening. The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation announced this on April 17.

"The warning period is from 21:00 on April 17 to 09:00 on April 18. Fog is expected in some areas of the region during the night and morning hours of April 18," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the message as saying.

The air temperature in the capital will be about +3 ... +5 degrees, and in the region — +1 ... +6 degrees, writes "Moscow 24".

Earlier in the day, Yandex Weather forecasters said that rain and snow are forecast in Moscow for the weekend. Partly cloudy skies and rain are expected on Saturday, April 18. Cloudy weather and rain are expected on Sunday, April 19, with snowfall possible by nightfall.

In turn, Alexander Ilyin, a forecaster at the Meteo forecasting center, told RT that ice is possible in places in the morning hours at subzero temperatures.
