The Russian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Anna Ponomareva, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the state in connection with the list of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which listed European manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was confirmed by the relevant document on Thursday, April 16.

"In connection with the report of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and subsequent comments by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council and former President Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister Petr Matsinka decided to summon the Russian Ambassador to Prague to clarify these statements to the Czech side," RIA Novosti quoted the text as saying.

The text clarified that the list prepared by the Russian Ministry of Defense included, among others, a number of Czech enterprises. These facilities, as representatives of the Czech side added in their explanation, allegedly could become potential targets of future attacks from the Russian Federation.

The list in question was prepared and published by the Russian Defense Ministry a day earlier. It includes 21 enterprises that are involved in the manufacture of drones. These organizations were located in the UK, Germany, Poland, Italy and the Czech Republic.
