The Chinese Haval Jolion crossover, one of the leaders in the new car market, is also becoming popular among used cars. This is confirmed by a sharp increase in the number of requested reports on the history of a particular used instance in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 2.7 times compared to the same period last year. This was reported to Izvestia on April 15 by experts of the Avtoteka online car history check service (Avito project). In total, the number of reports on the condition of used vehicles increased by 19% during this period.
High dynamics of requests for car history reports was also recorded for Audi Q5 (+58%), Honda CR-V (+54%), Lexus LX (+52%), Hyundai ix35 (+46%), Subaru Forester (+46%) models. The top 10 also includes Mitsubishi Outlander (+45%), Renault Duster, Nissan X-Trail and Hyundai Tucson (+44% each).
At the same time, potential Renault Duster buyers most often purchased reports in the first quarter: 77% of ads with this model were checked, which is 11 percentage points (pp) more than a year earlier.
The models with the highest proportion of inspections also included Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (73.6%, +5.2 percentage points) and Volvo XC60 (73.5%, +15.2 percentage points), Renault Sandero Stepway (73.3%, +7.4 percentage points) and Kia Rio (73%, +10 percentage points). Users were also often interested in the history of the Volvo XC90, Skoda Kodiaq, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Soul and Renault Sandero.
Such reports include information about mileage, maintenance, legal purity, participation in accidents and emergency auctions, taxi and carsharing use, and other data. Among the regions, the highest demand for car inspections was recorded in St. Petersburg (68%), the Murmansk Region (66%) and Moscow (65%). During the year, the number of report requests increased significantly in the Republics of Adygea (+86%) and Crimea (+43%), Omsk (+40%) and Tyumen (+39%) regions, as well as Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (+37%).
The day before, it was reported that Russians began to choose cars from more expensive segments more often. According to experts, in the first quarter of this year, Russians most often considered buying new cars worth 2-3 million and 3-5 million rubles — each of them accounted for 29% of the audience's attention. At the same time, the share of the segment of 3-5 million rubles increased by 3.7 percentage points (percentage points), and the segment of 5-8 million rubles — by 2.5 percentage points.
