Vance announced the readiness of the United States to conclude a deal with Iran
US President Donald Trump intends to conclude an agreement with Iran. This was announced on April 14 by American Vice President J. D. Vance during his speech at a forum at the University of Georgia.
"He wants to make a grandiose agreement. What he's offering Iran is very simple, but frankly, no other president has had the opportunity to do that," Vance said.
At the same time, he noted that Trump is not aiming at concluding a "small deal." According to Vance, if Iran expresses its readiness to normalize relations, then the United States is ready to treat it economically "like a normal country."
On April 14, Trump admitted that the next round of talks between Washington and Tehran could take place in the next two days in Pakistan. The head of the White House noted that the United States prefers holding talks in Pakistan, since other countries, according to him, have nothing to do with the conflict.
On the same day, Hamid Reza Gholamzadeh, director of the Iranian analytical center DiploHouse, said that Iran had strengthened its position at the negotiating table after the American "maximum plan" failed and the military operation did not bring significant results.
