Mema predicted dangerous times for Finland due to increased support for Ukraine
Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, criticized Finnish President Alexander Stubb for calling for increased support for Ukraine while ignoring the incident with four drones. The politician wrote about this on April 13 on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Thus, the politician commented on the publication on Twitter of the country's president, Alexander Stubb, in which he said that, together with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, he had a productive telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, including on "how to continue to support Ukrainian defense capabilities."
"The President of Finland openly calls for increased military support for Ukraine in the war against Russia, completely ignoring the drone incidents over Finland. A very dangerous time lies ahead for Finland," Mema pointed out.
On April 12, a drone with a warhead was discovered in the Finnish municipality of Iitti — the device was lying on the ground and was found by a random passerby. The area where the drone was detected, where residential buildings are located a kilometer from the scene, was cordoned off by police, and roads were blocked. Later, Finnish experts confirmed the Ukrainian origin of the drone.
On the same day, Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, condemned the use of the country's airspace by Ukrainian drones to attack Russian territory. According to the politician, the current course of the government is leading the country to a direct military clash.
