- A woman who died from painkillers in a private clinic in Moscow has three children.
A woman who died during brachioplasty at a beauty salon on Krasnoproletarskaya Street in the center of Moscow has three minor children. This was announced to Izvestia on April 13 by her mother Inna Korneeva.
According to her, her daughter's husband did not know about the planned procedure, as they are in the process of divorce. The woman also noted that the deceased had not previously experienced problems with anesthesia.
"She wanted to remove excess skin from her hands, as she had lost weight before. She wrote to me that one arm was done fine, but when they started to do the other, for some reason her anesthesia did not take. Maybe that's why they overdid the anesthesia, and she had this anaphylactic shock," Korneeva said.
She added that her daughter had found a doctor on the Internet and had gone for consultations before the procedure.
The patient died during a medical procedure in the center of Moscow on the same day. It was noted that the woman who performed the procedure rented an office in the clinic. At the same time, she did not have the appropriate license to provide medical services.
The Izvestia source also reported that the patient had brachioplasty, a hand lift. According to his information, the 39-year-old client of the salon was injected with the drug Lidocaine, after which she went into anaphylactic shock. Shortly after, a criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 2 of Article 235 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal conduct of medical or pharmaceutical activities that negligently caused the death of a person").
