Negotiations between the United States and Iran in Pakistan ended without an agreement. This was reported by Tasnim news agency on April 12.

"Iran is in no hurry, and until the United States accepts a reasonable agreement, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not change," the Telegram channel said.

It clarifies that the American side was mistaken not only in military assessments, but also continues to make mistakes in the negotiation process.

According to the agency, the venue and time of the next round of possible negotiations have not been chosen.

On April 11, American leader Donald Trump announced the official start of negotiations. According to him, it will soon become clear to the American side whether Tehran is being frank in the negotiations. As the US president pointed out, it "won't take long." In addition, the American leader called Iran a "failed country."

On April 12, Reuters reported that the talks in the United States and Iran discussed the Strait of Hormuz, the nuclear program, reparations, the lifting of sanctions and the final settlement of the conflict in the region.

Vice President of the United States Jay Dee Vance said on April 12 that the Iranian and American sides had not reached a common agreement during negotiations in Islamabad. According to Vance, the American side does not yet see Iran's readiness to abandon the development of nuclear weapons. He added that the United States was flexible enough during the negotiations, and also clearly outlined its red lines and those issues where compromise is possible.
