Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke at the penultimate rally before the parliamentary elections on Varoshash Square in his hometown of Szekesfehervar. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on April 11.

"They [the opponents of the ruling Fidesz party] were loud, and we [Fidesz supporters] were quiet. We were the quiet majority. That has changed in the last three weeks. Now we are the loud majority. Let's show them that!" he said.

Orban noted that supporters of his course had previously been subjected to pressure in the Internet space, but the situation had recently changed. The Hungarian Prime minister stressed that he was looking forward to the upcoming elections on April 12 with "great hope" and expressed confidence that the electorate would vote "for security."

In addition, the participants of the rally told Izvestia that they support Fidesz's actions in connection with an effective social policy, which has resulted in more types of support for children in the country, including free schooling. In addition, the development of hospitals and infrastructure was noted.

On April 10, Orban said in a video message to citizens that opponents of the current government in Hungary want to seize it by any means, trying to challenge the results of the parliamentary elections and discrediting them internationally. He added that the global situation requires unity from Hungarians and called for avoiding disagreements and hostility within the state. According to Orban, it is important for Hungary to continue its political course, especially when "the crisis is knocking on Europe's doors."

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
