Zelensky called Vance's trip to Hungary useless
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the visit of US Vice President Jay Dee Vance to Hungary useless. This was reported on April 9 by The Guardian newspaper.
Zelensky called the trip of US Vice President Jay D. Vance to Budapest to campaign for Hungarian President Viktor Orban "useless," the publication says.
The Ukrainian leader also assured that he did not plan to interfere in the Hungarian elections, as the American vice president said.
Yesterday, Vance said that Ukraine was interfering in Hungary's elections by cutting off supplies via the Druzhba oil pipeline and that EU countries should reconsider their position on unconditional support for Kiev, as it "does not stand up to any criticism." The vice president also mentioned Kiev's attempt to intimidate Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban by sending private soldiers to his residence.
