The Iranian Ports and Maritime Transport Authority has published a map with safe ways for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This was announced on April 8 by the SNN TV channel.

"Due to the military situation in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz <...> and the possibility of the presence of various anti-ship mines in the main zone of the Strait of Hormuz (according to the map), all ships intending to pass through the Strait of Hormuz <...> should use alternative routes in the Strait of Hormuz," the Telegram message says -the channel.

On the night of April 8, American leader Donald Trump announced that he had agreed to suspend strikes on Iran for another two weeks. The condition for this was the complete unblocking of the Strait of Hormuz. The United States also received a 10-point proposal from Iran to resolve the conflict. At the same time, the head of the White House on that day declared his readiness to resume hostilities against Iran if the United States could not conclude an agreement satisfactory to Washington.

On the same day, Reuters reported that the Iranian authorities could partially open the Strait of Hormuz next Thursday or Friday, before starting talks with U.S. representatives in Islamabad. It was clarified that in case of resumption of navigation, all vessels will necessarily need coordination with the Iranian military.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
