The speaker of the Iranian parliament said the United States violated three points of the peace plan.

The chairman of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, announced on April 8 that the American side had violated three points of the Iranian peace proposal before the start of negotiations.

"So far (USA — Ed.), three points of this proposal have been violated," the message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to him, US Leader Donald Trump recognized the Iranian proposal as a viable basis for starting a discussion of the situation.

It clarifies that three points, including non-compliance with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the crossing of Iranian airspace by a drone near the city of Lar and the denial of Tehran's right to enrich uranium, were violated by Washington.

Ghalibaf stressed that in such circumstances it is pointless to talk about a cease-fire or negotiations between the two sides.
