Sergeant Vladimir Kostylev destroyed two Ukrainian FPV drones during a combat mission to deliver logistical equipment to Russian servicemen. This was announced on April 8 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The delivery group carried out the delivery of property and spare parts by car to the line of combat contact for the operational supply of motorized rifle units.

While moving along the route, Kostylev's vehicle was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). While performing a combat mission, Kostylev personally destroyed two FPV drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and brought the car out from under the fire of Ukrainian militants, which made it possible to deliver the cargo in a timely manner.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the actions of Second Lieutenant Vladislav Yakushev, who carried out a combat mission to detect and identify strongholds and camouflaged positions of Ukrainian militants near the line of contact.

At the designated point, Yakushev lifted a reconnaissance drone into the air to conduct reconnaissance of the area. During the search, the junior lieutenant discovered a disguised enemy control and launch point for unmanned aerial vehicles.

After that, Yakushev transmitted the data to the artillery control center. As a result of the impact of the D-20 howitzer, the enemy's position was destroyed.

The competent and timely actions of the D-20 howitzer strike destroyed the enemy's position. Yakushev ensured the destruction of the AFU command post and personnel and prevented the enemy from attempting to attack the positions of Russian units.
