The Aurus plant in Yelabuga resumed work

The factory of the domestic luxury car brand Aurus in Yelabuga resumed normal operation in accordance with the plan for 2026. This was reported on April 7 by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the company's press service.

According to representatives of the brand, in the near future, the plant should prepare for the serial production of the restyled Aurus Senat model. To date, the pre-production bodies have been welded and painted, equipment has been configured, and technological operations have been completed.

In the future, it is planned to assemble prototypes of the production version of the model. Then the finished samples will be sent to FSUE NAMI for technical testing. Details about the updated Senat sedan are not specified.

Aurus announced on February 15 that scheduled work is underway at the Yelabuga production site to modernize production operations, including preparations for the release of an updated model.
