In Russia, a branch of the economy with a salary of over 500 thousand rubles has been identified.

In Russia, reinsurance became the only sector of the economy where average salaries exceeded 500 thousand rubles in January. This became known on April 6.

At the beginning of the year, the average reinsurance income increased to 559 thousand rubles from 329.7 thousand a year earlier, RIA Novosti found out after studying statistics.

It clarifies that the exception was made by structures that do not relate to any particular industry: for example, employees of holding companies in January received an average of 422 thousand rubles, fund managers - 345.2 thousand, and employees of head offices — 315.3 thousand rubles.

The average monthly nominal salary of Russians has increased fivefold over the past 15 years, it was reported on April 5. In 2010, it amounted to about 21 thousand rubles per month, and in 2025, according to Rosstat, it reached about 100 thousand rubles. Compared to 2015, when the average salary was 34 thousand rubles, the increase was three times.
