Regions with the highest salaries in the province were named in Russia.

The territories of the Far North are among the top 3 regions of Russia in terms of salaries in the province. This became known on April 6.

"The first place in the rating was taken by the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The average net salary (excluding personal income tax) here in 2025 amounted to 151 thousand rubles per month. The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District is in the second position with an absolute value of 158 thousand rubles per month. The Magadan Region closes the top three — the average salary is 180 thousand rubles per month," the RIA Novosti study notes.

It is known that the rating is based on the ratio of the average salary in small and medium-sized settlements of the region to the cost of a standard set of goods and services. This approach makes it possible to assess not only the level of nominal incomes, but also the actual purchasing power of provincial residents.

On April 5, TASS reported that the average monthly nominal salary of Russians has increased fivefold over the past 15 years. The dynamics within the year remains similar: salaries gradually increase from month to month with a slight decline in summer and early autumn.
