A man was detained in the Moscow region while trying to escape from court
The police stopped the accused man's attempt to escape from the Dolgoprudny city court by using a weapon against him. This was announced on April 2 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Moscow region.
"After the court session, while in the escort room, the accused asked to go to the toilet, upon leaving which he inflicted bodily injuries on two employees," the special service wrote on the Telegram channel.
After the attack, the police fired a warning shot, after which they were forced to use weapons against the intruder, shooting him in the legs.
It is noted that the attacker was arrested on the fact of illegal manufacture of firearms, as well as their storage and possible sale.
A resident of the Dzhankoy district of Crimea was detained on March 17 in a case of assault on the life of police officers and arson. It was noted that law enforcement officers arrived at the defendant's house to conduct operational search activities. Then the man shot at them several times with a gun, the staff received multiple injuries.
