- Sysoev, a participant in the Time of Heroes, promised Putin to help veterans of his military during the elections.
Hero of Russia, participant of the "Time of Heroes" program, included in the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation under the presidential quota, Anatoly Sysoev on April 1 promised Russian President Vladimir Putin to help veterans of the special military operation (SVO) who will participate in the elections.
"That's right," Sysoev replied to the president's question about his willingness to provide assistance to colleagues who decide to run for election.
Putin also drew attention to the fact that the CEC of the Russian Federation will now have a person with combat experience. According to the president, Sysoev should suggest what kind of assistance should be provided to military personnel going to the State Duma elections or participating in elections at other levels.
Earlier that day, during a meeting with new CEC members, Putin instructed the commission to help the veteran candidates of his military. The Head of State noted that more and more veterans of the special operation are striving to realize themselves in civilian spheres, including work in elected positions.
On February 11, the presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District, Artyom Zhoga, pointed out the benefits of combat experience for members of his civil service. Zhoga added that the stress tolerance of the SVO fighters helps them better cope with non-standard situations that "unsettle an ordinary person."
