Media reported on Iran's attack on Amazon data center in Bahrain
Iran attacked the Amazon Web Services (AWS) data center in Bahrain. This was reported on March 1 by the Financial Times (FT), citing its sources.
The attack occurred a day after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened attacks on American companies operating in the Middle East. Amazon declined to comment on the specific incident.
At the same time, the publication emphasizes that during the current conflict, the cloud provider's facilities in the region have repeatedly become targets of attacks.
Earlier in the day, Qatar announced that an oil tanker had been hit by a missile launched from Iran. The military added that there were 21 people on board the ship. All of them have been evacuated now, there are no casualties.
