Russia may take retaliatory measures against states that provide their airspace for the passage of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 1 by Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish national Conservative Freedom Alliance party.

"Russia may take retaliatory measures against countries that provide their airspace for military operations," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

In this regard, the politician called on the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to immediately send an official note to Moscow denying any involvement of Helsinki in ensuring flights of Ukrainian drones through Finnish territory.

Later, Finnish President Alexander Stubb confirmed the arrival of a Ukrainian UAV on the territory of the country. On April 1, the Finnish Border Guard Service discovered an unknown fallen drone.
