Miroshnik declared Kiev's readiness to use the truce for rearmament
Any respite is important for the Ukrainian punishers in order to receive weapons from Europe and replenish their ranks. This statement was made on March 31 by the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik.
"Any respite is important for tired punishers right now, but it won't break off," the Telegram channel post says.
According to Miroshnik, the ceasefire proposed by Kiev on the line of contact, in his opinion, is necessary only so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) can receive additional "drones and ammunition" from Europe, as well as replenish personnel at the expense of mobilized Ukrainians.
Zelensky said on March 30 that Ukraine was ready for an Easter truce and an end to strikes on the energy sector. At the same time, the Ukrainian leader did not disclose the possible dates and specific dates for the beginning of the silence regime.
At the same time, the head of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, Grigory Karasin, pointed out that Zelensky's statements about Kiev's readiness for the Easter truce could not be trusted. Karasin also noted that the Ukrainian leader actually "does not belong to himself," being only a "toy in someone else's hands," in particular, the interests of NATO and the European Union (EU).
