A new heat record has been set in the capital. Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, told about this on March 31 in his Telegram channel.
"By 15:00 at the main weather station of VDNKH, the thermometer showed +17.5 degrees," the report says.
It is specified that the previous heat record has been held since 2007. Then it was +17.2 degrees in Moscow.
Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, reported on March 13 that the second consecutive heat record was recorded in Moscow on Friday. According to the forecaster, March of this year will repeat the number of records for the same period in 2025.
