In Chechnya, several districts were left without electricity due to heavy rains
Due to adverse weather conditions, two districts of Chechnya, the city of Shali and part of Grozny remain without electricity. This was announced on March 29 by the Chechenenergo press service.
"Currently, separate districts of the city of Grozny, the city of Shali, Nadterechny and Nozhai-Yurt districts remain without electricity. Restoration measures will be continued until the consequences of the disaster are completely eliminated," the message on the VKontakte social network says.
It is specified that 27 emergency teams have been involved in eliminating the consequences. For stable energy supply to socially significant facilities, 14 backup sources of electricity supply (REES) have been prepared.
The coordination of restoration activities is carried out by the operational headquarters for the development of the regional electric power industry.
On March 29, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, introduced a state of emergency (emergency) due to bad weather in the Chechen Republic. It was noted that against the background of heavy rainfall and rising water levels in the Gudermes district, about 750 houses were flooded. In addition, over 500 residents of the region were evacuated.
