Iran did not ask for a 10-day suspension of strikes on its energy facilities. This was reported on March 26 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources.

"Iran has not asked for a suspension of strikes on energy facilities," the article says.

It is emphasized that Tehran still has not given a definitive answer to the US 15-point plan to end the war.

The head of the White House, Donald Trump, announced on March 23 that the US military would temporarily suspend strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure amid negotiations between Washington and Tehran. He also said that the United States and Iran had held two days of fruitful negotiations to resolve the conflict.

On March 24, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Russia, Kazem Jalali, denied information about negotiations between Washington and Tehran. The American and Iranian sides did not hold talks during the US-Israeli military operation in Iran.

On March 26, Trump announced the postponement of strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure for 10 days, until April 6. He also noted that negotiations are continuing, and called their progress "successful."
