In the near future, the UK may face a critical shortage of fuel to "intercept" anything. This was announced on March 26 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.

This is how he commented on the words of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who allowed the Military Forces to detain vessels under sanctions in British waters.

"Soon, the UK will run out of fuel to "intercept" anything," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to Dmitriev, Starmer promotes the destruction of Western civilization, she added "Газета.Ru ".

The day before, the director of the Shell oil company, Wael Sawan, said that Europe could face shortages of fuel and energy resources in the coming weeks if the situation around the Strait of Hormuz does not change. On March 21, the International Energy Agency (IEA) recommended that governments abandon flights whenever possible and switch to using electric stoves instead of gas stoves in order to reserve reserves of liquefied natural gas.
