The 39th Nika Film Award Ceremony was held in Moscow
The 39th Nika National Cinematography Award ceremony was held in Moscow on March 23. People's Artist of the RSFSR Svetlana Kryuchkova and Russian actor Konstantin Khabensky received awards for the best female and male lead roles.
Khabensky was awarded a Nickname for his role in the film "Jura was Here" directed by Sergei Malkin. Kryuchkova received a Nickname for her role in the film "Two in One Life, not counting the Dog."
The main award for the best feature film was given to the film "The Wind" directed by Sergey Chliyants. The film was shot based on a script written by Peter Lutsyk and Alexey Samoryadov in 1993.
On March 6, Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova announced the appointment of Khabensky as acting rector of the Studio School at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. He combines his work with the position of artistic director of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater (Moscow Art Theater).
